New Art from an Old Craft

Gallery Flux and ABANA are hosting a National Juried Exhibit of forged iron (and other forged metal) art created by living artists.

The exhibit will open Friday, June 1, 2018 and run through June 30, 2018.

Deadline for submissions is Saturday, April 14, 2018.

We are looking for forged metalwork demonstrating both skilled craftsmanship and creative design. Work may be functional or non-functional. Gallery Flux is a commercial gallery; work must be available for sale in order to be considered. There will be a special cocktail reception on June 27 for those arriving early to our Conference in Richmond, Virginia. Artists are responsible for shipping or delivering work to and from the gallery. Unsold work may be picked up at the end of the ABANA conference, July 1, 2018 between 9AM – 11AM.

Submission Instructions

  • Images must be in .jpg format
    Please photograph your work professionally: accurate color representation, high res for clarity, and cropped properly.
  • Include Artist Name, Address, Phone, and Email with submission
