Paul DiPasquale graduated from the University of Virginia in 1973 with Distinction in Sociology and an Art minor. He studied architecture at Boston Architecture Center and then earned his Master's Degree in sculpture at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1977. Among his most noted works are the 34 ft. bronze Neptune Monument in Virginia Beach, the 20 ft. bronze Virginia Beach Law Enforcement Memorial, the family authorized bronze bust of Dr. Martin Luther King in Hopewell VA, Governor Mills Godwin bronze portrait and the Oliver Hill bronze portrait at the Virginia Historical Society, and the family authorized and approved Arthur Ashe Monument on Richmond’s Monument Avenue for which he was chosen Richmonder of the Year in 1996 as the project originator and sculptor.
DiPasquale is listed in Who's Who in the the World, in America, and in the Arts. His recent 7 foot bronze portrait statue of the late entrepreneur and entertainer Jimmy Dean was commissioned by Donna Meade Dean for the Jimmy Dean Museum in Plainview Texas. Mr. DiPasquale and his wife, singer/actress Kelly Kennedy are long time residents of Richmond and have two children.
